Hi All
This problem popped up recently on a couple of my machines. I now have about 10 machines suffering the same problems.
On opening Microstation V8i, Ver 08.11.09.608 users are getting: "Bentley.lictransmit for windows has stopped working" with the choices of "Check online for a solution and close the program" or "Close the program".
If a user chooses "Close the program" MS carries on working without issue. This error can then pop up at any point while using MS.
I've deleted the c:\ProgramData\Bentley\Licensing\license.db file, but this has not resolved the error as it does with other licensing problems.
All the log files show nothing unusual.
Any ideas?
Please upload large files such as dump files using our Secure File Upload page. As for the crash itself, I also recommend performing the following troubleshooting steps to obtain diagnostic data from the license client itself:

If by dump file you mean a licdebug.log file, please submit it using the Communities Secure File Upload page, and post a message here once uploaded so that I or another Bentley colleague can examine it further.

I was unable to do much with the memory dump file, unfortunately. Instead, please generate a licensing error log by performing the steps below:
did this ever get resolved? I am getting the same issues now out of the blue on windows 10. nothing has changed in the last few days but this error has started occurring.
