Jeremy,
Currently, all of our mslocal.cfg files have syntax that points the license file to a network server.
Each license file sets SERVER location specific to the office location.
_USTN_LICENSING=J:/CBICAD/Mstn/V7/_License/
In the past, we listed several servers so that we could get a rollover if a server went down.
We no longer do that because we want good reporting.
What I'm concerned about is if the WAN or LAN goes down and the network drive is not available.
Can I add a second line that says SERVER="localhost" and if the first line fails it will go to a local license file?
SERVER="H2RWPLIC01"
SERVER="localhost"

Hello Tim, I know you directed your question to Jeremy, but thought I'd add my two cents here. I believe if you add "localhost" to the license file it will look for a Gateway installation on the machine, not another license file. HTH
