Migrating to SelectServer online

I am in the process of converting our users to use Select server Online instead of our locally deployed select server. I am using the recommended Group Policy way of converting users over. I am having issues where users are getting the trial splash screen even though when testing the connection in the licence tool it says it is activated and connected but still shows as being offline in the Activation status. Do I need to reactivate each PC - there is nothing saying to say I need to do this in everything I had read on the Bentley website. Also I am hoping I don't have to clear the registry keys pointing to our local select server.

I am not having luck with this and hope somone can help.

  • Products will activate automatically if a connection can be made with SELECTserver OnLine. As a troubleshooting step, please open the License Management Tool, and select the License Checkout tab. Do you see a list of licenses, or do you encounter an error message? If an error message occurs, please select Options from the Tools menu, enable the "Use HTTPS (SSL)" checkbox, and verify whether a list of licenses appears in the License Checkout tab now. If they do, your products should activate.
