I assumed that the circa 1.5GB download would be the one I needed though so downloaded that.

I wonder if both files are required?

Its a bit awkward for me in that my IT department holds our Bentley log in details and I only have my personal account here, so I can't get to the Software Fulfillment centre to play around / experiment.

Was it the GB dataset version that you had problems with also?

RE: trying to down load Aecosim and get error "non 7z archive". even installing the 7 zip programme, it reports back that the file has errors

I have spent 3 days now trying to download Aecosim and trying to get projectwise to work via remote accessing (its a clients projectwise).....given up now and ordered the DVD

RE: trying to down load Aecosim and get error "non 7z archive". even installing the 7 zip programme, it reports back that the file has errors

I've just had exactly the same.

Thought it was something to do with my zip archive software (7zip). So, I uninstalled that, restarted and tried again. Exactly the same issue.

The version I downloaded was:

AecoSim SS6 with GB dataset
