You can use the license tool utility to update the password changes. Here's a support solution with the command lines communities.bentley.com/.../license-tool-command-line-options

RE: How do we get the Connection client to work behind a corporate firewall?

^^^ Just to add to that. The license manager itself does appear to require any credentials to use proxy authentication.

RE: How do we get the Connection client to work behind a corporate firewall?

Thanks Tamicca.

I am now able to connect successfully. So this means we don't have to open port 8443?
Another question. Is there a way to configure the License tool to use your windows credentials (SSO) for proxy authentication?

If not, I would imagine that our users would have to update their authentication details every time their password changes.

RE: How do we get the Connection client to work behind a corporate firewall?

Hello wilks,

You can enter your proxy information in the License Management Tool in MicroStation and the CONNECTION client will access it from there. You can get there by going to the File tab in MicroStation > Tools > License Management > in the License Management Tool go to Tools > Options > Proxy Configuration.
