Hi
After several attemps i'm not able to activate the new verson of Bentley Map PowerView (08.11.09.862).
I've earlier had some serious problems related to that (see earlier posts), but hoped that it was solved do to a workaround with cleaning up the license registration with a registry cleaner.
My problem is as follows:
In the license management overview Bentley Map seems to be correctly installed and activated because a have a green checkmark indicates that it is OK.
If I try to run a "Product activation wizard" eveyting is goig fine and I get no error messages.
But after 15 minutes of use the session terminates the notification that the license is not activated.
I've tried to run Both Bentley Map PowerView and the License Management in an elevated prompt, but it does not change anything.
I've made an error log which is uploaded to the Secure File Upload.
I really hope you can help.

Hi Jeremy
I've now taken a backup of my registry. Can you say more specific which folders in the registry we should look in for changes?
In my humble opinion this is not enough. Let me explain why I don't think this is enough:
- Bentley Map PowerView is the only program of all Bentley program's that has this problem. I've have installed MicroStation, Bentley Map, PowerCivil an so on with absolutely no problems like this!
- We can't tell our customers which suffers under this, that this is the only solution! Would you be satisfied with this if you sold the program, but only could use for 13 minutes before you have to close it?
- Others have the same problems, look here: https://communities.bentley.com/products/licensing/f/licensing-and-activation-forum/139722/product-activation
Please dig further into this... You are welcome to look and test on my machine.
Or should I fill out a service request so I can get someone directly from the product support?
Regards Rune
Your concerns are warranted, especially since the problem has resurfaced! Since my knowledge of the product and of the registry keys it affects is limited, I have created a service request (7000677461) in your name and routed it to the product support team for further investigation. Included are the log files you provided me. You will be contacted directly by one of my colleagues.
It sounds very good, thank you very much! I wiil look forward to hear from your collegaues :)
