According to the enterprise portal we used CONNECT advisor for 24 hours last month. I don't know how this is possible as I didn't use it once as far as I know!

My account manager has contacted me and explained that there is no possibility of my company being billed for the overage notices that I mentioned.
He went on to explain that "CONNECT" may have issues, as it is now, with a user logging in on another Bentley user's system. It's a long story.
I took his kind assurance - but really hope these kind of things don't persist.
Stuart - there seem to be some bugs here. I hope your issue is resolved to your satisfaction.

Why I am I getting "Overage notices" for (and I am not going to use the word "using") CONNECT Advisor?
As someone who has been a Bentley Select user for the best part of 10 years, this is all new to me.
I am simply a CAD technician - not an Administrator. I have little understanding of how your CONNECT applications "run in the background". Also I've never used them intentionally.
If the use of these programs is free - then why the need for notices re. licence usage?

To follow this up, how are the usage times calculated as I don't believe we have used 24 hours worth?

The CONNECT Advisor is Bentley new service which comes with CONNECT edition products. So any usage of CONNECT Advisor will no be charged.
