Activation for multiple users on one machine

Hello,

Client have one machine which several users work on.

Does he need to activate his license on each of the users accounts in this machine?

  • By default, license settings are stored in the user profile. This would necessitate each user entering them. However, the license settings can be elevated to the All Users profile so that they are applied to user profiles that do not already have them. To do this, please perform the following steps:

    1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bentley Shared\CONNECTION Client.
    2. Right-click on LicenseTool.exe, and select "Run as administrator" from the contextual menu.
    3. Select Options from the Tools menu.
    4. Ensure your license settings are entered in the Server Name and Site Activation Key fields.
    5. Click the Elevate to All Users button in the lower right as shown in the following forum post.
    6. Follow the prompts to move the settings to the All Users profile.
    7. Close the License Management Tool.
