Within User Management, from the CONNECTION Center, if I select a user and assign them to a group, the assign group dialog now has a new pull down menu 'Group Type'
What is this new menu, how is it managed, and what do the options mean?
Clarification needed, and how do we change, remove or add types?

The groups are in preparation for CONNECT Licensing. https://communities.bentley.com/products/licensing/w/licensing__wiki/37813/connect-licensing
The documentation will be posted soon explaining how to use the groups for CONNECT Licensing once CONNECT Licensing is fully available for all organizations.
