Greetings,
Yesterday and today, my CONNECTION Client (10.0.11.42) would not log in automatically, even though I have it set to automatically start up and then login when I use Bentley software. The Windows tray icon still showed a red X. When I went to login manually yesterday and today, I got this:
The tray icon still shows a red X.
Another user in my office does not have this issue.
Any ideas as to what might be going on? Are there any steps I might take?

Thanks for your reply! I made the updates to Internet Options as suggested and still received the same result.
is there anything else I might try?
Is this seriously the answer - "add us to your trusted sites list"? What is the software doing? What are we enabling to occur by changing this setting? In an enterprise, this is not necessarily a simple change to get approved - there has to be a good reason.

I too have this problem now. I have installed it on over 50 workstations and do not need additional issues like this throughout the day. In addition, almost EVERYONE complains how it launches non-stop and they can't get rid of it. Most of our users do not even have logins. They want this Connection Client to just go away completely.
