Connection client without an internet connection

It seems some users must be logged into the connection client to use their Bentley application.  I don't need to (I am a channel partner), but two customers had to.  Even if they have a checked out license.

But what if they don't have an internet connection, since it appears that in order to login to the connection client one needs an internet connection?  If this is the case, then users in the middle of the desert or offshore can't use their Bentley application.

  • It is gINT - some PCs are V8i and some Connect.  The user didn't act on registering users, initially, and they were then blocked from using their software, now I think they are signing in the connection client etc. I'll make a service ticket.

  • Hi dear users! I am more than sure that you are not using a stable internet connection at your house. Make sure if this is no problem with your modem/router cause if it is with it then you will need to change it in order to get good and stable internet speed. If you are using an LTE internet then I would suggest you change it to a fiber optic high-speed internet. You can check your providers by your living area on a website usave.co.uk .Just type in your postal code and check your local providers and sort by the best price and you will see what options do you have.
