I have a question regarding to one of our customers that have uses Bentley software on a Citrix solution.
The problem is that the Bentley software only is installed only at the Citrix client, but when they received their last bill, they could see that a computer name with absolutely no Bentley software has occured on the list.
We can not see how that could happen...
The data is confidential, so I hope that I can explain the problem further and get help from a Bentley professional.
Best regards

Could the computer in question have accessed the Citrix server using Remote Desktop and opened a Bentley product from there? Such usage would be recorded against the remote computer, not the host computer.
Hi Jeremy. Yes, that could easily be the situation, but I will confirm it with the user. Does it always count on the remote computer in such situations or how can the user know where the license is recorded?
Yes, remote/terminal sessions to a server-based operating system (e.g. Windows Server 2012, 2016, etc.) will record any Bentley product usage against the remote computer, not the server. For products using our new CONNECT Licensing system, product usage from any remote/terminal session will be recorded against the remote computer.
