I have created a few catalogs and they all show a status of "Private". There does not seem to be any facility to modify the status right now. I'm wondering, first, what is the function of the catalog status? Second, as content admin, should I (or will I) be able to change it?

I can change the status of components. My question is regarding the Status of Catalogs. There is no way to change it from Private to something else. I don't understand what it means when the catalog is "Private" and since we're just in the process of reviewing it, it's not a big deal... but I'd still like to know
