On opening microstation over the last couple of days , users on U11 are receiving the below error. In addition to this it is taking around 2-5mins to open microstation, I presume in an attempt to reach the server??

Same issue here with Ram Structural System. If I stop the Connection Client, will everything work OK??? It is driving me crazy. I can't get any work done!
When it is taking 3 or 4 minutes per person to even open the software then that's a lot of lost time if you are a large firm plus all the time users will waste emailing or calling me and then my time to find out what the problem is and report back to them. Fortunately I can count the Connect users currently on the fingers on one hand but if this happens when I have even 40 or 50 people on Connect then that's a huge waste of time.
Then there is the knock on confidence issues where people will just go back to V8i and stay there unless I force them. If Bentley are going to use cloud licensing then it needs to be bulletproof with multiple redundancy. This does not seem to be the case at the moment. I'm trying to get people using Connect but currently on a number of issues Bentley are shooting me in the foot.
No, there has never been a similar delay with previous versions nor when the alert system appeared to be working. Now switching between modules within RAM Structural System and waiting a few minutes every time has become very cumbersome and time consuming.
Kevin is correct. I don't remember a long wait going from module to module in Ram Structural System before this fiasco. I am having one other issue with the Connection Client. Most of the time, I can find the icon in the system tray. Today, it is running in the background (I think?) as a process when I call the Task Manager but not in the "hidden icons" system tray. I use it to get to our Service Tickets, the forums, wikis, download software updates and other management tasks.
ok - to recap the answers - when the alerting system is functioning properly, the new license system works like the old license system in regards to time to open the product. As I mentioned, we are working to correct the problem. We made a few corrections previously that resolved this for some. Our push today is still ongoing.

nope. havent seen it before with the old lic thing. Havend even notived 2 weeks ago. Seems to be an issue seems ~10 days. Maye 2 weeks now. And i can report that while one machine here instantly launches MS CE, an other one might face that 4 min delay and "accept" issue Thing. So it seems not to affect all the same time. Maybe a Bottleneck in the Bentley Server.
