Offline usage issues with CONNECTION Client

Update: CONNECTION Client has been released which addresses the offline usage issue. The release notes explain what else has changed.

A bug has been discovered in CONNECTION Client and that is preventing users from accessing products when disconnected from the Internet. While the issue will be addressed in the next version of CONNECTION Client, the issue can be resolved by downgrading to Below are instructions for obtaining an installer for this version:

  1. Open the Connect Center.
  2. Scroll to the bottom, and click the Software Download tile in the My Services section.

  3. Click in the field in the upper-right corner, search for CONNECTION Client, and choose CONNECTION Client from the drop-down menu that appears.

  4. Click the CONNECTION Client link on the search results page:
  5. Change the Version drop-down menu to For most users, also choose x64 from the Architecture drop-down menu. Finally click the Apply button along the right edge:

  6. Click the blue Download button for the installer listing that displays:
