Getting this on several of our PCs after entering the email address. Also seem to have lost the ability to download software.
I had this problem - and this cured it (see registry change):
If you are able to sign-in to https://ims.bentley.com but cannot sign-in to the CONNECTION Client, we suggest modifying the CONNECTION Client to use Chromium - it's Google Chrome: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser).
Please note that this requires administrative permissions on your computer.

CONNECTION Client 10.00.19.24 and later now includes an embedded copy of the Chromium browser as an alternative to Internet Explorer. This can be useful for any users encountering problems signing in with Internet Explorer. The following batch file (saved as a text file for easy transfer through email) can be executed by a user to switch between Chromium and Internet Explorer as needed:
