connection client page expired

Question

Getting this on several of our PCs after entering the email address. Also seem to have lost the ability to download software.

Just right-click in the white area of the message and select 'Back" - the login prompt should re-appear. You can also make sure your version of CONNECTION Client is up-to-date.

I found that if you get the above Connection Client "Page Expired" page, right-click over the middle of it, near the "Looks like something didn't work...." text, and select Back, then select the email address again, it goes through the Microsoft login procedure of entering your Microsoft password, before then logging into Bentley Connection Client correctly. At least, that's how it worked for me. I hope this helps. I don't know why it was doing this though.

I had this problem - and this cured it (see registry change): 
 If you are able to sign-in to https://ims.bentley.com but cannot sign-in to the CONNECTION Client, we suggest modifying the CONNECTION Client to use Chromium - it's Google Chrome: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_(web_browser) . 
 Please note that this requires administrative permissions on your computer.

 CONNECTION Client 10.00.19.24 and later now includes an embedded copy of the Chromium browser as an alternative to Internet Explorer. This can be useful for any users encountering problems signing in with Internet Explorer. The following batch file (saved as a text file for easy transfer through email) can be executed by a user to switch between Chromium and Internet Explorer as needed:

 To use it, please perform the following steps: 
 
 Save the attached file on the user's machine. 
 Change the extension from TXT to BAT.

 In the window that appears, type Y, and press Enter to use the Chromium browser. Typing N will configure CONNECTION Client to use Internet Explorer instead. 
 The batch file will quit and restart CONNECTION Client. If the batch file remains open for more than 15 seconds because CONNECTION Client refuses to close on its own, please close CONNECTION Client from the system tray or Task Manager.

Hi Duncan, 
 My solution is very simple. Just right click and select Exit over CONNECTION Client icon on the bottom right of your desktop. Then click Windows key and type CONNECTION and run CONNETION Client.
