Hello,
On one machine without internet connection in our network, we want to use Bentley View CE.
There seems to be no other way than using the Connection Client (and an internet connection) to make Bentley View CE work.
In the Entitlement pages I do not see Bentley View as a possible check-out lic.
PLEASE, Can we get a local lic (or check-out lic.) File for Bentley View CE ?
That would really help.
Many thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Nicolas Tobbackx

I see Bentley View license (I did not finish the export, only tried to fill all items):

It does work if you complete the process. I confirmed for you by downloading the 10.14.00.109 version of view and checking out a license. The Bentley License Tool shows that the license is checked-out. Hope this helps.

Thank you Jan, Thank you Glenn,
I managed to create a .belic download license file for Bentley View on my machine without internet connection.
But unfortunately, when importing this license with the command line I get the error message "cannot import because policy machine name does not match current machine name". I double-checked this but I do not see a mismatch. I created a Service Ticket for this @Bentley Suppport.
I will keep you posted about the outcome.
Thanks again and best regards,
Nico
What happens when you use the Bentley Licensing tool on the machine that is supposed to use the exported license? I am wondering if some issue is happening by doing this via the Command Line.
Yes, please post any solution you may hear from Support.
Thanks,
