I would like to ask which is the current situation regarding the topic of automating MicroStation. I read this post of EULA - No Automated Use, but it is 12 years old.
Additional, I had read that it should be possible to use ProjectWise.
3. Does the EULA of ProjectWise allow us to run MicroStation in a service style a approach?
4. Can we setup ProjectWise to (a) open a template in MicroStation (b) run a MicroStation Add-In to modify the template (c) Submit the new documents to the respective position?

That being said, I was able to fin my EULAs for my Bentley products under C:\Program Files\Bentley\ in the appropriate product directories. Mine do indeed mention a non-automation clause. I am not familiar with how that all works, so you will probably need to read them yourself. I'm sure the folks over at the licensing forum will be able to help you understand specifics.

I read the EULA for MicroStation (under the folder specified) and it still prohibit Automated use.
You can ask Bentley permission.
Just to be crystal clear:Do you mean I can ask Bentley for the permission of using MicroStation in a server for automated use?
I will try this approach and come back with the status.
Yes as there are some solutions which uses Microstation in such scenario.
