These things started up popping up recently. How do I turn them off?
Can someone from Bentley please provide an update on SR 7001349142. My last email sent was 6 days ago.
ER 793901 raised and I was told that a work around had been applied on Bentley side. Yet, I'm still being spammed.
Hi Tuan,
It looks like SR 7001349142 was closed in December of last year. Three emails were sent to you on December 22ndm 23rd and 28th, with no response so the SR was closed on the 28th. I do not see any incoming emails since then. It is possible that you may not be receiving our emails, or we are somehow not receiving yours. Ensure that you do not have large file attachments (use our ShareFile method instead) and check your "Junk" folder.
I have re-opened the SR with a note about your post here and someone should be in contact with you shortly. If you do not hear back, please write back here.

Hi Tuan, I discussed this with my colleagues who informed me that they are actively working on this (including today) via a different Service Request - 7001356753. So, I have re-closed the old SR 7001349142. Please continue to work with my colleagues via 7001356753.
Thanks Jesse. I forgot there were 2 SRs for the issue that I have. Elena had got back to me now, however, I have to say things are not looking great on my end.
Hello,
Is there an updated status to this thread? I am receiving alot of "Activity Feed" notifications for PlantSight updates and I would like to turn those off while still being part of the PlantSight project. Some people want these notifications but I would like to turn them off on at the user level or on a per project basis.
No fix that I've been told about. There's a proposed work around here:
https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/licensing_cloud_and_web_services/f/forum/232981/connection-client-learning-tip-blocking/722741#722741
If you consider those messages as spams, you may consider reporting the issue to your local authority looking after the issue. I am contemplating doing the same thing.
Below is an excerpt from the email I get from Support to show you the level of absurdity of this saga:
"The dev team did a re-check and found that your user GUID was accidentally included in one of the MicroStation segmentation lists. Meaning that each time we send a message, it requires a manual “Ctrl+F’’ to check for his specific user GUID and delete it. This manual step was missed hence you got this 2 notifications in the last week."
They have to manually remove your GUID from their spam machine every single time!
Annoying for me as well. The suggestion above of setting Notifications only applies the the Windows notifications. We still get the useless messages. Oh wait, I just got an update to Connection Client, installing........ Maybe this one will have a setting to help us out. The part that bugs me is the alert thing in my tray icon.
