Hosted Licensing Server, SELECTserver OnLine experiencing slowness

We are experincing technical difficulties with our hosted licensing service, SELECTserver OnLine. While we are working to resolve any outstanding issues:

  • Some users may receive notification that they are disconnected from the server. This behavior is normal. Bentley applications will continue to license without interruption.

  • You may be temporarily unable to use product licenses that were not activated within thirty days of installation. For more information, please refer to the online Wiki article describing Product Activation Modes of Behavior.

  • Administrative functionality may not be available.

If you are unable to use your software, please contact Bentley Technical Support.

We will inform you as soon as these issues have been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding

  • Has this issue been resolved?  We are a large firm and are seeing the following error message pop up all over our network.  "An error has occured while attempting to verify the server and activation key."  Most having the error are running MicroStation SS2.  Please let us know if this is and issue on the SELECTserver side.  If not, we will continue to troubleshoot our network for issues.  Thanks, Steve Magoon
