Hello,
We have a situation whereby a user was on site and holidays for a combined period of more than 30 days away from an internet connection and now cannot use PowerDraft. I've tried the Activate button and followed the prompts but to no avail. Do I have to reinstall and if so do I have to uninstall first?
Thanks
Rasher
For this specific machine, Rasher reported via email that the issue was resolved by reinstalling the software. He advised that there had been some issues with the initial install as the machine was quite contrary.

Hello Rasher,
Can you try going to Tools>Send logs now and run that, in the License Management Tool. Once complete try highlighting Microstation Powerdraft again and click 'Activate'.
If that doesn't resolve the issue can you find the client licensing folder for that machine, zip it up and email it to me at jim.irvine@bentley.com and I'll analyse the contents. It will be in one of the following locations:
XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley\licensingC:\Documents and Settings\<User profile>\Application Data\Bentley\LicensingC:\Documents and Settings\<User profile>\Local Settings\Application Data\Bentley\Licensing
Windows 7
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\LicensingC:\Users\<User profile>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Licensing
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks Phil,
No to the checked out license and yes to the rest! We have had similar situations in the past and could activate through the SELECTserver but this one refuses to activate.
Is mise,

Is the instance of MicroStation PowerDraft getting license usages from a SELECTserver that has MicroStation PowerDraft in its activation key, and the activation key is still valid? Could it be using a checked out license?
