There are two scenarios:

1.	The Port 80 is actually being used by another process.

2.	The Port is not being used by another process and error is occurring due registry subkey is not configured correctly on the computer that is running IIS for the parameter “ListenOnlyList”

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\HTTP\Parameters\ListenOnlyList

How to check that port is open or not?

You can run the command “netstat -an”. This will display ports list which are listening.

Workaround:

Scenario 1: We can Change the port by using the Steps.

1.	Open Internet Service Manager or Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

2.	If necessary, expand the Web server that you want, and then expand Web Sites.

3.	Right-click the Web site that you want to change.

4.	Click Properties.

5.	Click the Web Site tab.

6.	Change the TCP Port Number in the TCP Port edit box (or click Advanced for multiple Port settings).

7.	Click OK to save the changes.

For different IIS version please refer the following Microsoft Technote:

support.microsoft.com/.../149605

Note: Once you change the port in IIS. Please add the port number on client License Management Tool.

For Example: ServerName: Port no.

Scenario 2: To configured the registry subkey for the parameter ListenOnlyList.

Please refer the following Microsoft Technote:

support.microsoft.com/.../890015
