select server > passport reports > "daily client usage" does not log
"projectwise explorer client" usage for external company users who are logging into the sydney tains projectwise system. it only
logs their "projectwise server web client" usage.
One thing that could cause this is the way ProjectWise Explorer is configured to report usages. By default it reports the usages through the PW Integration Server but you can configure it to report the usages itself to a different SelectServer. This is not possible for PW Web Server users - they will always report through the PW Web Server. In this case if the external users are configured to use their own license for PW Explorer, only their PW Web Server usages are reported.
If the above could not be the case, there is another thing specific to PW usage reporting. By design, in case of PW Explorer the usage that is recorded is the "windows hostname\windows username" and in case of PW Web Server Client usage - it records the "ip address of user machine\PW account name" combination so you may have both PW Explorer and PW Web Server Client usages reported for the external users but just see them with different user names because of the above.
