Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit / database hosted on Sql server 2008 R2 64 bit on a different server
Bentley SelectServer version 9.0.0.13
The error message in the UsageLogProcessingService:
TRACE - Shared - SP ss_sp_insert_ServiceStatus returned 1 rows in 00:00:00.0156238
Error - UsageLogProcessingService -Service Process returned error code # - 1 - Unhandled Exception occurred during processing, see logs for details.
I can also see a previous error in the logs where it cannot write to ss_Tmp_ExplodedByDay either because it does not exist (which it does) or you do not have permissions and then it rolls back the transaction. The usage logs have not transmitted in a month. The database is not showing any errors and the services are running on the web server. I cannot do a manual log transmittal as it states there are no logs to process. Has anyone seen this before and can you make any suggestions on how to fix it?
thanks
My apologies for the delay in responding to your issue. The processing of the usage logs is a database process. Please tell me if this issue still exists.
Two questions come to mind.
Viewing the Database Setup Tool from the START > ALL PROGRAMS > BENTLEY > SELECTServer menu which method is defined to access the database? Is it the “Windows NT integration and Security” or the “Use a specific username and password”?
When viewing the Administration site page when it first opens are there any errors at the top of the page?
I would like to see the Error logs they would be in this location.
Zipped copy of the “C:\Program Files\Bentley\SELECTServer\Logs” directory (or the root directory of where you installed the application
I will be monitoring the post for your response. When replying please choose the “Use rich formatting” option and attach the error logs. Again, my apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this issue. Please let me know if this condition still exist.
