Problem
SELECTserver and SELECTserver Gateway in a cloud environment.
1) Does the SELECTserver application run in a CLOUD?
2) Does the gateway run in a CLOUD environment?
Solution
1) Bentley CONNECT SELECTservices (SELECTserver Online) is Bentley’s license management and reporting cloud service. Their is no deployed version of SELECTserver that is supported via a cloud configuration.
2) The Gateway by design is a LAN device set to run by specifically bridging legacy clients communication to a server. It's current design is not functional in a cloud environment.
