    Why is a license for my RAM or STAAD product missing from the License Checkout list?

    Problem

    When attempting to check out a license for a RAM or STAAD product, the product license does not appear in the License Checkout tab of the License Management Tool.

    Solution

    Some users have a Structural Enterprise license which covers RAM and STAAD products. In this case, individual product licenses for such products will not appear in the License Checkout list. To check out an individual RAM or STAAD product license, please perform the following steps:

    1. Open the License Management Tool.

    2. Select the License Checkout tab.

    3. Modify the Checkout Expiration Date value if necessary.

    4. Then select the Structural Enterprise license in the top pane.

    5. Click the CheckOut button.

    6. A list of products covered by the Structural Enterprise license will appear. Choose one or more products, and click the OK button.

    7. Then enter an email address and version number (if not already pre-filled), and click the OK button.

    8. Dismiss the Checkout Results window that appears.
