When attempting to access the SELECTserver administration site on a deployed SELECTserver, the following error is displayed:
Cannot find table 0.
SELECTserver is unable to access to the underlying license database. This can happen because of SQL authentication issues or connection issues with the database itself.
Open the SELECTserver Database Setup utility as an administrator by selecting from the Windows Start menu (or Start screen):All Programs -> Bentley -> SELECTserver
Then right-click on the SELECTserver Database Setup listing, and select "Run as administrator" from the contextual menu.
In the window that appears, look for any error messages on the Status tab. Also attempt to open the Database drop-down menu.
If a connection error occurs when attempting to do so, verify the Server settings in the upper left corner. They should display the computer name where the database resides usually followed by a backslash and the name of a database instance. Also verify that the proper user credentials are entered. By default, SELECTserver uses SQL authentication with a user of sa (i.e. system administrator) and a password provided during the installation of SQL Server.
Open the Services panel on the computer running your license database (may be the same as your SELECTserver). Locate a service starting with SQL Server and the name of your database instance in parentheses. By default, this would be either SQL Server (SELECTSERVER) or SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS). Ensure that the service is started.
