As part of the transition to Subscription Entitlement Service, Bentley's latest method for product activation, the CONNECTION Client is a key part of the process. The CONNECTION Client guides users through the registration process and enables them to sign in. Once registered and signed in, users can run any of the products their Organization has an Entitlement (license) for as part of their contract. Administrators will have greater control over license usage such as restrictions and user alerts.
Additionally, the CONNECTION Client is the gateway to Bentley's cloud services, portals and analytics. By signing into the CONNECTION Client you can find your company's projects, track your time, explore analytics, download software updates, receive relevant notifications, and access other features available to you as a Bentley user.
