Work in Progress.
It is easy to work with items in ProjectWise Share. You can perform the following operations with your files and folders.
To create a new folder, first navigate to the location where you would like the folder to be created. You can create a folder on the Home page or inside of another folder. Select the "+ New" button in the top left and select New Folder from the dropdown that displays.
The Create New Folder dialog box displays where you can enter a name for the new folder in the Enter folder name field and then select Save to create the new folder.
The new folder displays in your current location in ProjectWise Share, with the "Folder Successfully Created" message.
To upload a file, first navigate to the location where you would like to upload the file. You can upload a file on the Home page or in a folder. Select the "+ New" button in the top left and select Upload File(s) from the dropdown that displays.
From the File Upload dialog box that displays, select the file or files you would like to upload, then select Open. The files start to upload. While the files are uploading, a message displays above the file list with the number of files that are currently being uploaded. For example, in the below screenshot, one file has already been uploaded while a second file is still being uploaded, therefore the message displays "Uploading 1 item(s)." The number of files being uploaded also displays in parentheses after "In Progress" on the left sidebar.
Note: Files that are still being uploaded can be cancelled from the In Progress page. For more information, see the following topic.
Once the files have all been uploaded, the Uploading message no longer displays and all the files display in the location where they were uploaded.
To view upload progress or to cancel an upload, select In Progress from the left sidebar. If there are no uploads in progress, the In Progress page displays the message "There are currently no uploads in progress." If there are uploads in progress, the uploading files display here, organized by Name, Type, File Size, by the person that the file is being uploaded by, or by Progress. Selecting one of these headers sorts the file list by that header.
The Progress field displays a percentage and a graphical indicator of the upload progress. This percentage indicates approximately what percent of the file has been uploaded to ProjectWise Share.
You can cancel an upload by selecting the red “X” icon to the right of the upload that you wish to cancel.
Note: There is no warning dialog box when you cancel an upload, so please be sure that you wish to cancel the upload before you select the red "X" icon.
To download files, select the checkbox next to each file that you would like to download, then select the Download Item(s) button, which is highlighted in red in the screenshot below.
From the dialog box that displays, select whether you would like to Open the file with a program on your device, or Save the file to your device, and then select OK. The file is downloaded to the location on your device where your browser stores downloaded files.
To move files or folders to a different folder in ProjectWise Share, select the checkbox next to each file that you would like to move, then select the Move Item(s) button.
The Move Item(s) dialog box displays. If you would like to move the files to an existing folder, select the radio button next to the folder where you would like to move the files and select Move. The files display in the folder where you moved them.
