Problem

Which ports and domains must be enabled for proper communication with the Deployed or Hosted Server?

Solution

The communication between SELECTserver and Bentley occurs at http via port 80, for proxy servers via the port defined at the proxy server (usually 8080), and at https (SSL is ON) over port 443
The occupied ports are obrained via

cmd
netstat -a

For the Deployed server, the following domains must be reachable to ensure proper communication:

buddi.bentley.com
appsnet.bentley.com
selectserver.bentley.com
ssla.bentley.com
ssla.cloudapp.net
connect.bentley.com

Best is to release *.bentley.com bidirectional, an IP specification is not required
The communication between client computer and SELECTserver Gateway takes place by default via port 3998
