Evaluation Entitlements allow your users to evaluate, a.k.a. test drive, Bentley applications before purchasing. To obtain an Evaluation License, you must first contact your Account Manager. He or she will generate the Evaluation entitlements for these specific parameters
After your Account Manager has created the Evaluation License, Administrators and Co-Administrators are able to create Evaluation Entitlements for any IMS user in your organization. To create an Evaluation Entitlement, navigate to the Evaluations page in the left navigation menu of Entitlement Management.
All Evaluations your Account Manager has set up will be listed.
Click on the edit icon under the Edit column and a side panel will open to the right to assign IMS users an Evaluation Entitlement for that application.
To assign an Evaluation to a user, choose a search criteria in the dropdown and use the search box to find an IMS user from your organization. After selecting the user from the results list, click on the plus icon to assign the Evaluation.
Click on the X in the Remove column to remove the user from the Evaluation.
It is extremely important that these users are logged into Connection Client when they access these applications. Evaluation usage can only be flagged as Evaluation if the users are signed in.
