Listed below are some errors (and potential fixes) users may experience while using the PDF Markup app from a PW WSG connection. To get more information on your error and help narrow down the cause, hover over the error message on the app (information popup may take up to 10 seconds to show).
Error: Failed to create markup file
This error occurs if the app is unable to create the file on the WSG server that it needs to store the markups made on the PDF. Possible reasons for this could be if the folder/workspace the PDF is located in has some of the following settings:
In each of those cases, the PDF Markup app will be unable to create a markup file.
How to Fix: Create a folder alongside the PDF named "XFDF__". Modify the folder so that it doesn't have any of the above restrictions. The PDF Markup app will now use that folder when creating and loading markup files.
