CONNECTION Client Recommends Update for Version Already Installed

    Product(s): CONNECTION Client
    Version(s): All
    Area: Updates

    Problem

The CONNECTION Client recommends an update for the version that is already installed.

    Solution

This typically means there's an issue in the registry with the installation. To resolve uninstall and reinstall the CONNECTION Client.

    NOTE:

CONNECTION Client update needs to be performed on the local Windows administrator account, not by providing the administrator's credentials on a non-Administrator account - see: CONNECTION Client update fails or causes sign in issues if user doesn't have local admin rights
