A dialog with a -1 error concerning the Bentley Licensing Service not starting appears when attempting to open products using our Subscription Entitlement Service (SES).
The Bentley Licensing Service is a background process that is responsible for securing licenses on behalf of SES. If it is not running or cannot communicate with CONNECTION Client, it cannot activate products.
Upgrading to the latest version of CONNECTION Client may resolve the issue. If the issue persists, perform the following troubleshooting steps:
