The current encryption certificate is expiring on December 5th, 2021. As such, we will be updating our customer-facing certificate on Saturday November 27th.
Open web and CONNECTION Client sessions will be terminated. If you are signed out, simply sign back in. If you are experiencing trouble, check https://status.bentley.com/ for updates, and submit a Service Request or call 1-800-BENTLEY if you need help.
The current signing certificate for ims-token-signing.bentley.com is expiring on December 5th, 2021. This expiring certificate is used in the Dev, QA, and Prod environments. It is our hope to have a smooth transition with plenty of time to test in QA prior to the cutover in Prod. As such, it is incumbent upon you and your teams to plan for this event and surface any issues to our IMS team as soon as possible.
As such, we will be updating our environments with the new certificate starting with Dev and QA on Friday, November 5th, and then in Prod on Saturday November 27th.
OIDC-based connections should be able to negotiate this certificate rotation with no changes needed. OIDC connections are highly recommended for all internal application connections, but if your application or service is still not using an OIDC connection, you will need the new certificate, which can be found attached.
