Guest Accounts - Review Access


Guest Accounts are not related to User Management, Entitlement Management or Bentley products

Per our communications from February 2022, Bentley Systems, Inc. has instated new Guest account policy measures to ensure better legal and security governance.

All Guest accounts have received an email notification from Microsoft with the subject line: Action Required: Review Access by [Date]. Guests will need to complete this action by the date specified in the subject line in order to continue accessing approved Bentley resources such as Office 365 and Teams. These resources are be related to collaboration between Bentley colleagues and users which may include, but not limited to, Office groups, group chats, shared files, or SharePoint sites. Teams meeting invitations do not create a Guest account.

Selecting the 'Review access' option will provide you more details of the resources you have been invited to. If you no longer require access to the Bentley resource, no action is needed.

Please be aware this email will be sent once every month, asking to reaffirm access by the specified date. If you do not reaffirm your Guest access by the date, your account will be disabled. You can reach out to their Bentley sponsor, who provided you access, to re-enable your account. No data is associated with Guest account.
