Problem
Error "User already exists but their email domain isn't part of your organization. Click 'Invite to Account' to invite user to your account." while registering the user in User Management.
Explanation
Users can only be associated to a single account. and they use their login to access the licensing associated to their account
Accounts have the ability to claim domains. This is done so new users will be properly associated with their account when they self-register (as opposed to being added to an account by an administrator) on the Bentley website.
A user may fail to be added to your account if the domain of the specified email address is claimed by a different account.
In this scenario, you can invite those users to your account by clicking 'Invite to Account' hyperlink in the modal window and finish the user registration.
If you are unable to add the user due to an error such as 'User is currently locked and invite could not be sent', please contact licensing support using one of the following methods:
