I have, and tried the install again, and again it fails with the same error.
More dumb stuff (sorry).
Are you connected to the internet?
Are you installing on a 64 bit OS?
Have you tried removing it from Windows Apps before installing?
Have you tried downloading it from the Fulfillment Center (or whatever it's called today) and installing from that?

No. Shouldn't have to as this is an upgrade via CC.

Bentley - Can you help with this? What does the error mean?
Are there CONNECTION Client install logs in the Temp folder %temp%? If so please upload one from this attempt. Is the exe being downloaded to your machine? The default location is C:\BentleyDownloads. If the exe is there try running it. I suspect that there will be an error during install. Upload the install logs.
The CONNECTION Client can not show the exact error that is displayed in the full install wizard. It will only give a general Microsoft error.
