Dear Bentley Team,
Can you please guide me to enable Check for Updates option as currently, it is disabled in my PC and also it would be really helpful if you can explain or refer to some documents on the benefits of using this option as maybe it is disabled by our IT as they did for other software's to avoid unnecessary updates.
Is it possible to update select series OpenFlows versions to connect versions using Connection Client?

If your IT set the preferences via a registry entry you will need to contact them to have it changed to allow updates: https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/sign-in_assistance_and_web_services/w/wiki/36379/installation---silent
Updates through the CONNECTION Client only apply to CONNECT Editions. You will not receive update notifications if you have older versions installed.

Our IT is trying to enable the Connection Client UPDATES option (as it is disabled in my PC by default) but we did not succeeded yet. So can you please guide us through steps that how can we enable UPDATES option in Connection Client? See below screenshot currently the UPDATES option are disabled.

Your IT will need to look in the registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bentley\BentleyDesktopClient\Install\UpdateClient for the key names below and set them as following:
•Keyname_CheckUpdateOption=•Keyname_CheckUpdateIsEnabled=1
