If a user records a Visa consumption (they have used PW Explorer) and a Passport consumption (they have also used PW Web Connection) within a 90 day period, are they charged for 1 Visa and 1 Passport, or just 1 Visa? (as Visa is the more expensive licence type)
We want to give best advice of which product to use for different roles, but if a user thinks they can use the cheaper Passport for their work, and then finds an occasion where they must user PW Explorer, we want to avoid them being charged for both where possible.
Hi Jim,
Visa will be charged ideally. Because Visa comprises all the capabilities of Passport. In this case if user have to use PW Explorer then users are automatically using Visa capabilities and they will be charged for Visa. Hope this Helps.

Hi Abhishek,
Thanks for the reply.
To be clear for me then, if a Visa and Passport consumption is recorded for 1 user during the same time period, Bentley recognises this and only charges for the Visa consumption?
Thanks,
Jiim
Hi Jiim,
Yes right, it will only charge for Visa consumption.
Apologies for reviving this old thread, but I’d like to give my two cents. If a user records both a Visa consumption (using PW Explorer) and a Passport consumption (using PW Web Connection) within 90 days, they'll be charged for 1 Visa and 1 Passport. Even though Visa is the more expensive license type, the charges are applied separately for each consumption. In addition, if you're concerned about fraudulent activity, make sure to utilize a reliable fake id checker to verify the authenticity of identification documents. It's a useful tool to ensure security and prevent any potential issues.
