Connection client says it needs to update, but when I try to download and install, the installation fails and says error code 10.0.19.27 "installation is cancelled." What is the fix?

Looks like the permission issue on your machine which is not allowing you to update. Can you please upload the CONNECTION client logs in below share-file link; https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r383e846288143d9a . To collect the logs in windows search box type 'Bentley Log Collector', click on collect and save the zip file. Upload the zip file in share-file link, I will examine it and update you.

Thank You sharing the logs. I have reviewed the logs and found that their connection issue at our end. See the below error log;
06-18-20 02:01:13.576 [28] ERROR - BUDDIClient - GetUrl() encountered an error: System.ServiceModel.EndpointNotFoundException: There was no endpoint listening at https://buddi.bentley.com/discovery.asmx that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'buddi.bentley.com'
If you're using any proxy or antivirus, you need to ask your IT to whitelist certain domains that CONNECTION client accesses. You will find the list if domains here
Hello - I am still having this same issue. I have whitelisted *.bentley.com, and I am still unable to get the update to connection client to install. It just fails to install. We have 3 computers all set up the exact same way. I don't have any problem on 2 out of 3.
