Custom Properties and Bulk Import
To improve the quality and information about your component, you can use the new custom properties feature to add more details.
Follow these steps:1. Go to the details page for the component in the Components Center.2. Click on the custom properties tab.3. Click the "+" icon to open the "Add New Properties" dialog box.4. Enter the name, value, unit of measure, and type for the new property.5. Save your changes by clicking "Save."
You can import custom properties in bulk to efficiently manage your component details.Follow these steps: 1. Go to the custom properties tab on the component details page.2. Click on the "Import" button.3. Upload the CSV file that contains your custom properties.4. Click "Import" to bring in your custom properties in bulk.5. Review the data and save by clicking "Save."
Folder Structure
To keep your components organized and easily accessible, try utilizing the new folder structure. Add a folder to your catalog and group your components based on your preferred criteria, such as by project, manufacturer, or type.
Bulk Edit
Utilize bulk editing to easily modify component properties and upload the changes to the library. The library allows the download of a list of components in a CSV format, filtered or unfiltered. You can modify properties like Component Name, Description, Catalog(s), Category, Manufacturer, Application, State, and Tag(s). Once you make the changes, upload the CSV file to the Components Center using the Bulk Edit tool to update the components.

Components Center now supports Revit Type Catalogs. For new components, add a type catalog file during the component upload process. For existing components, add a type catalog file by selecting a component and navigate to the show details icon. Click on the design file tab and add the type catalog file to the design file.

Left Hand Navigation Bar
The Navigation Pane appears on the left side of the Components Center window and is how you switch between the different areas of Components Center, such as Catalogs, Components, Analytics, Brands, Job Management, and Administration.
Catalogs
The Catalog Page is now the main page of Components Center. You can now view your components by double clicking the catalog or by clicking on the view components from the menu tab. You can also manage and set the catalog as a default based on your permissions.
Manage Catalogs
From the Manage Catalog page you can change basic information of catalog. Also, some additional features are adding references, share catalogs with projects, and catalog analytics.
Access Control
Control Access to an Individual Catalog. You can assign access based on role or user.
