Introduction

This video series contains instructions for getting started with Bentley’s Energy Simulation solution, OpenBuildings Energy Simulator.

You will get an introductory overview of the OpenBuildings Energy Simulator interface, a demonstration of the ease with which your building model can be constructed using innovate modeling capabilities. You will learn how to control your buildings design parameters and know the steady-state OpenBuildings Energy Simulator calculations, including load calculations such as Heat Loss and CIBSE Gain. Furthermore, we will demonstrate the cross-format capabilities of OpenBuildings Energy Simulator by showing how to import Hevacomp Design Database projects.

All the content is made for both new users and those that previously used Hevacomp Design Database.
