1 Zoom, Fit , Window Area, and Pan View Controls

Your design is displayed within a view window. That is where you draw. To manipulate the view window you can use the view controls. After completing this video you will be able to work with view controls to quickly and efficiently locate your area of interest in your design.

2 Additional View Controls from the Mouse

Many of the zoom, fit, rotate and pan view actions can also be executed through the use of the mouse buttons right at your fingertips. After watching this video you will be able to quickly access any of the most common view tools in MicroStation.

3 Opening Multiple View Windows

MicroStation can work with up to eight active view windows. They allow you to view the design from multiple view points. It's like viewing the active model with up to eight individual cameras. After watching this video you will be able to optimize the display of your models by utilizing up to eight views simultaneously.

4 Control View Display by Setting View Attributes

All eight views are independent in MicroStation, with each view able to determine the elements that are displayed such as text, dimensions, or patterns. Additional attributes can be controlled for fill, transparency, grid display, etc. After watching this video you will be able to set your views to match project standards to optimize and speed drawing production.

5 Control the Display by Defining the Level Display

In addition to the view attributes, levels may also be used to control the display of a design. After completing this video you will be able to adjust each view based on which file and levels should be displayed. This allow you to match the project standards and optimize a particular view.
