Text Editor - Word processor - Unable to Load/Create Dialog Item of type "HTML"

 When trying to use the TEXT commands to edit text the designer receives the following Information dialog in V8i FDOT2010.

Here is the solution:

 

You need to download the DHTML Editing Control for Applications from Microsoft and install it. It probably should have been installed with the MicroStation prerequisite pack but wasn’t.
You can get the DHTML control directly from Microsoft:
