So by default, we get our sheets to show up like this with "STATE OF FLORIDA" and "DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION." For my projects that are not for FDOT, is there a way I can change that within the workset properties so that I don't have to go through every single page and change this? I learned earlier today how to change the county and FPID in the workset properties so I just need to know how to automate those two things now. Thanks in advance!
I only work for FDOT, it's a rule, but a quick way to do that would be to write a MVBA and run a batch command to open your files and change the text.
That's actually a sheet cell with dynamic text fields. The heading text you mention is not. For other projects, you'll need to use a separate workspace and not use the FDOT ORD shortcut. By default, ORD should show available text fields with a grey background (FDOT added those to their sheet cell). If you don't see them, you may have chosen to "hide text fields" from the preferences>text options. Those Sheet cells come in as part of ORD's Named Boundaries workflow and pull from FDOT's intended sheet seed files that contain those cells. That cannot be easily changed without significant understanding of how Bentley designed the new sheet creation tool to work. Other clients and projects that are not FDOT should have their own Workspace and Workset dropdown and pull from a completely different set of standards and sheet seeds. Here's the learning path where you can find more regarding setting up sheet seeds ... They're titled "Under the Hood"... and look into Drawing Seeds down a bit further. https://learn.bentley.com/app/Public/ViewLearningPathDetails?lpId=113449
