Earthwork Issues with SS2

I consistently get an error message and booted out of Microstation when trying to perform earthwork. Specifically on the 'sheet quantity' tab of the earthwork function. When attempting to enter in the second column of quantities (see attached screenshot) Microstation errors out and won't allow me to continue.

I have verified this on 3 separate machines all connected to the Geopak license via server license.

Is there a simple solution to this?

  • That was the issue. The soil types were entered in but not populated in the ‘write quantities’ section. It works with selecting the appropriate soil type.

When you get this error, have you filled in the Soil Types portion of the dialog?

I have seen the program crash before when the Sheet Quantity section gets filled in before the Soil Types.  The Sheet Quantity section needs the information provided in the Soil Types to complete the dialog options to know what it is to report in the column.
