Bentley View - FDOT Environment

Can Bentley View run within the FDOT workspace environment? I have a couple of high-level managers who want to be able to see the progress of design without having to install the full version.

To properly view FDOT project files in Bentley view, you simply need to copy the contents of the FDOTSS4\RESOURCES\LINESTYLES folder as well as FDOTSS4\RESOURCES\DGNLIBS to the corresponding RESOURCES folders in the BentleyView install.

You'll also need to install the fonts located in RESOURCES\FONTS to the WINDOWS\FONTS folder.

Hi Chuck,

Did you ever get this to work. I have the same situation here. How does it handle reference file pointers?

Dennis,

Yeah, I did as suggested. I also then created a separate FDOT workspace just for View and hooked in the production workspace resources that were needed.
