Help with FDOT Drainage User Training Manual

Have you cleaned up your Geopak.rsc files? I see that you are searching a FDOTSS3 folder structure.

I'm just trying to follow the exercise. I don't know how to clean up Geopak.rsc files. I have done everything to the letter.

To clean out the GEOPAK RSC files, you can run Workspace Doctor which is located in the FDOTSS4 folder on your desktop. Be sure to check the box regarding GEOPAK RSC files.

If you don't have the latest version of FDOTSS4 which has the Workspace Doctor, I highly recommend installing both the MR3 and the MR3 Hotfix.

In the meanwhile, you can manually delete the resource files by navigating to C:\FDOTSS4\TEMP\GPKRSC and deleting the contents of the folder. Restart FDOTSS4 and you should be good to go.

close your project manager, then reopen it highlight the project name then go to projects menu select edit
then select preferences from the project info edit window
select feature preferences and redirect it to the ss4 C:\FDOTSS4\geopak\databases\fdot_SS4.smd
then click ok will return to the previous window select cogo preference and direct all fields to the right location where you have the gpk file
hit ok until you go back to the window where you can select the job number you should see your gpk file there then ok again and continue to the project
you can do the same from application geopak road user preferences.
this should do it.
